Winter Cheer Starts Here - Bloor West Village Scavenger Hunt

This wintertime activity in the Bloor West Village BIA neighbourhood is a socially distanced, self-guided, outdoor excursion that is fun for all ages and the whole family, pets included. Wind your way through the village using the Goosechase App, find the animals in the storefront windows and solve clues. As each day goes by and another sun rises, these animal buddies will discover more surprises! Visit the window displays at participating locations, complete the scavenger hunt clues to be entered to win prizes!

Artist Wenting Li, James Lai and Alexis Venerus have created playful illustrations across storefront windows in Bloor West Village.

The Bloor West Village BIA is proud to host an Interactive Scavenger Hunt.

This socially distanced, outdoor activity is fun for the whole family. Bring your dogs too! Join the fun for a chance to Win Weekly Prizes from local businesses plus one final Grand Prize Draw.

Eight (8) storefront windows in the village are beautifully painted with whimsical woodland animal images by renowned local illustrator, muralist and comics artist Wenting Li. 

BONUS: Artists James Lai and Alexis Venerus have created a magical paper snow display at 2344 Bloor St W!  This window installation encapsulates the moment between a fox and a squirrel crossing paths in High Park. They greet each other amongst the falling snow and share a moment of togetherness on the trail. Don't say no, say Hello! in the Snow. 

Visit the illustrated window displays at participating storefront locations and complete all scavenger hunt questions to be entered for a chance to win prizes!

This entirely self-guided event is the perfect way to get out of the house with your family or housemates and support Bloor West Village BIA stores and shops throughout the winter season.

HOW TO PLAY: 

GAME RULES

1. Scan the QR Code to download the free ‘Goose Chase App’. www.goosechase.com/
2. Search for ‘Winter Cheer Scavenger Hunt’. Or Enter the Game Code: J58LE3 
3. Choose a unique name for you or your team. Play solo or as a team.
4. Visit the business locations in order and solve clues to earn points, including taking photos. 
5. Once you have submitted all clue answers, you will be entered into the weekly prize draw.
6. Complete all the bonus questions to be entered into the final grand prize draw.
