Learn how improve mood and mindset by combing repetition, design and pattern to create Mandala art.
Doodling can enhance mindfulness and promote self-discovery. The creative process is a pathway to calming and relaxation. In this session, children will learn how to combine repetition and design to create playful patterns to improve their mood and mindset.
A mandala is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in form. "Mandala" is a Sanskrit word that means "circle". Mandalas generally have one identifiable center point, from which emanates an array of symbols, shapes and forms.
For Grades 3 - 6. One registration per family. Priority will be given to confirmed VPL members.
Materials required are:
- Blank Paper
- Pencils
- Black Markers (Thin and Thick Tips)
