Creative Writing
The Write It Workshops are intended for youth in grades 4-8. A creative writing program focuses on improving the writing skills of children through which participants are encouraged to find their voice and gain confidence in their choices as a writer.

Saturday, 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm (EST)
- Jan 8 – Brainstorm Bonanza
- Jan 15 – Mixed Bag Mayhem
- Jan 29 – Plotline Play-by-Play

- Feb 12 – Stay On Track
- Virtual workshops take place every Saturday (excluding long weekends) from 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm depending on the date for 1 hour
- Lesson plans are developed by an educator with over 20 years of teaching experience
- Free writing worksheets for download
- Participants will have a chance to win a kids’ ebook. These Canadian children’s books were written by winners of our nationwide Kids Write 4 Kids annual writing competition.
