Crafting with Kid Made Modern – Fuzzy Stick Holiday Trees
Using fuzzy sticks from the Holiday Craft Kit we will create a series of three different style festive trees for your own holiday forest!
Trees are an iconic symbol throughout the winter months and these fuzz stick trees will be no different! Together we create three different style festive trees, the coil tree, bent fuzzy stick tree, and a "snowflake tree. In the end, you will have your own little holiday forest to put on display.
In this session, you will learn:
- The steps of making a coiled tree, bent fuzzy stick tree, and a “snowflake” tree.
- Each tree will be made twice so the steps will be thorough
- Each participant will have a forest of 6 trees by the end.
- Additional decorations such as pom-pom ornaments and yarn garlands will be added to adorn the trees.
What you will need:
*most items are included in Kid Made Modern’s Arts + Crafts Library
- Fuzzy sticks in various colors
- Pom Poms in various colors + sizes
- 1 Sheet of Construction Paper
- Glue Dots or Hot Glue
- Scissors
