Wanna make your own
Mason Jar Treats for Father’s Day?
- Here’s what you need:
- Mason jars
- Scrapbook paper {color/pattern of your choosing}
- Scissors or Die cutting machine
- 3 inch circle hole punch
- Hot glue gun
- Treats {candy, cookies, etc.}
Start by cutting out these cute scrapbook paper ties with my Silhouette Cameo. {You do NOT need a die cutting machine for this project. You could totally cut these out on your own.}
Fill your mason jar with your treats.
Using your 3 inch hole punch, cut out circles from the same scrapbook papers.
You are going to use these on the jar lids.
Separate the jar lid from the ring, place the circle on the lid and then screw the lid back on the mason jar.
I used white card stock for the “collar” of the ties. Simply cut a 1 inch strip of paper. Wrap the strip around the neck of your jar. Hot glue in place.
Once the “collar” is added to the jar neck, you can begin gluing your neck ties in place. I chose to mix it up a bit and did not coordinate jar lids with neck ties.
That’s it!! You are finished! Takes about five minutes to assemble. Now you can add your own gift tag or card to go with your Mason Jar Treats for Father’s Day!
