For kids that love to sing, this class is a great intro to music for our budding stars. Build a strong foundation with Disney and Pop tunes!

For kids that love to sing, this class is a great introduction to music for our budding stars. Develop skills and build a strong foundation in music with songs kids know and love! Incorporate movement with singing to learn simple and fun musical concepts like beats, rhythm, and pitch.

Disney favorites like “Let It Go” and “I Am Moana”, pop songs like “Shake it Off” and “Wolves,” or classics like “Baby Shark” and “Twinkle Twinkle” will make it into the repertoire list.

Solfege (do, re, mi, etc.) is a musical system based on syllables that is used in sight-singing. Beginners and pros alike have used this system for ages. It's a great tool for developing a musical ear and building music-reading and sight-singing skills. It helps with understanding tonal relationships and developing a music foundation. This class will introduce basic solfege, hand gestures related to each solfege syllable, and simple songs using the syllables. Music has been proven to make us smarter, so only those who want high test scores and IQs need sign up.

By the end of the class, students will be able to sing and sign songs using solfege! Songs chosen are based on student favorites, so sign up for multiple classes to have a choice in what is sung for the next class!
