This place doubles as an apple orchard and sugar shack. There are several playgrounds for kids, walking trails, a mini farm, cider tasting, as well as motorized and horse-drawn carriage rides. Families might find this orchard particularly appealing as next to the sugar shack area is the Arbraska forest adventure park and the new-in-2022.
Where: 575 Rang de la Montagne, Mont St. Grégoire.
Approximately a 45-minute drive from Montreal.
When: Hours are daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. It’s best to call ahead to see which varieties are ready to pick.
Age group: all ages
Cost: entrance fees are $4 per person. Admission is free for children aged 12 and under for apple season. A bracelet valid for the day will be given to you so that you can enter and leave the orchards. You have one free entry per U-pick bag purchased.
- Bags of apples must be purchased before entering the orchards.
- Apple picking bag size is approximately 15 lbs. at $25 or 2 bags for $48.
Les vergers Denis Charbonneau offer you the picking of a wide variety of apples and small fruits, such as; strawberries (June), raspberries (July), blueberries (July/August) and plums (September), in addition to delicious "Flemish Beauty" pears and pumpkins.
