Visit the RAPS Cat Sanctuary 2022

Visit the RAPS Cat Sanctuary 2022

Tours & Day Trips

The RAPS Cat Sanctuary – Canada’s cat sanctuary! – is open to the public again! (Children under 6 not permitted.)

Details:

A wonderful family tradition for years, visits to the RAPS Cat Sanctuary allow families who may not be able to have companion animals of their own to interact with hundreds of cats! We could not be more excited that we – and the cats! – are ready to welcome folks back for time-staggered visits!

For more than 20 years, the RAPS Cat Sanctuary has saved and improved the lives of homeless and abandoned cats and kittens. A destination for animals who face euthanasia in other jurisdictions, the sanctuary is a loving forever home for hundreds of animals who are unlikely to find a family.

With special sections for seniors cats, those with FIV, and cats with leukemia, the sanctuary accommodates and cares for animals regardless of their behavioural or physical differences.

This is RAPS’ no-kill promise in practice!

Under our care, no animal is ever euthanized due to lack of space, treatable illness, physical defect, age, behavioural or socialization issues.

RAPS was founded with the vision that all animals deserve the right to their best life. We also believe that where an animal lives should not determine whether an animal lives.
