Public Works Day
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Public Works team will once again welcome the residents of the City of Pointe-Claire and introduce them to the various trades practised by the City’s Public Works staff. Residents young and old are invited in large numbers to enjoy this festive day.
There will be many activities, such as:
- The Road Team will show off their fleet of vehicles
- The Aqueduct Team will simulate a water main break
- The Horticultural Team will host a variety of tree and plant workshops throughout the day
Children can also participate in a craft workshop and an apprentice circuit, play in an inflatable structure, have their face painted, and take a seat in a few trucks. They will also be able to practice their street marking skills using chalk and the stencils used by Public Works.
The Pointe-Claire bagel restaurant will have a booth on-site ($)
