ICD Ramadan Kids Competition 2022!

Islamic Center of Detroit (ICD) welcomes kids ages 5-11 to watch videos, answer questions, win prizes, and have fun this Ramadan!

Come join your Islamic Center of Detroit community by participating in this fun kids competition this Ramadan!

This is your chance to spend a few minutes every day watching cool videos, challenging yourself with the daily question, and winning great prizes!

How to participate:

Once you sign up, you will receive an email every day with a link to the video and a link to the daily question. Simply click both links to watch the video and answer the question every day to earn a cool prize!

You can even join us to watch the video together during Ramadan Kids Storytime, 6:30pm daily on Zoom! (Meeting ID 71364485345 Passcode 2fgM1b). Participation in competition is not required to attend Ramadan Kids Storytime.

Competition Rules:

1. The competition is for children age 5 to 11 years old.

2. Registration is free but required in order to participate in the competition.

3. The competition is comprised of 30 questions in total.

4. One question will appear daily by email (Google Form). Each question will be accessible for 24 hours.

5. The information needed to answer the daily questions will be available in the corresponding video of the day (link also provided daily), which should be the only source used to find the answer.

6. Video will also be shown during Ramadan Kids Storytime program, 6:30 pm daily over Zoom (Meeting ID 71364485345 Passcode 2fgM1b). First and last name must be included on Zoom to enter Storytime program. Participation in competition is not required to attend Ramadan Kids Storytime, nor is Storytime attendance required for Ramadan Kids Competition participation. Microphones must be muted during program and videos must be on. ICD Women's Committee reserves the right to block access due to noncompliance, disruptive or inappropriate behavior.

7. No parental, online, or outside assistance should be used to procure answers, other than from the video provided (don't forget, Allah is watching you this Ramadan!).

8. The competition will be in English.

9. Registered participants who answer all questions correctly will be eligible to win a prize at the end of the month.

10. Prize winners will be notified by their registered email regarding prize information.

11. The ICD Women's Committee retains the right to disqualify any participant who has not abided by the above-mentioned rules.
