Montréal Science Centre Activities
In addition to its exhibitions and educational programs, the Science Centre presents the latest, biggest IMAX® movies in its seven-storey theatre.
Located in the heart of the Old Port of Montreal, the Montreal Science Centre is entirely devoted to science and technology, and is notable for the excellent quality of its activities, exhibitions and the use of interactive devices in an innovative environment, both educational and entertaining. This fall, families can visit four permanent exhibition halls:
Fabrik (for children 8 years and up): put your kids’ innovation skills to the test as they use their creativity to build technological solutions from random objects.
Human: explore the evolution (and the future!) of the human body through demonstrations and hands-on activities.
Explore: delve into the science behind motion, light, air, water, geometry and matter through interactive installations. Budding programmers can even experiment with code.
Mini Mondo: new, interactive exhibit for children up to the age of 7 that lets them explore their environment through touch, sight, sound and smell. Also, the IMAX®TELUS theatre will welcome back movie fans for great big adventures on the giant screen with Superpower Dogs 3D and Great Bear Rainforest 3D.
Health and safety measures are in place and tickets must be purchased online.
