Halloween Special @ SOS Labyrinthe

Halloween Special @ SOS Labyrinthe

Tours & Day Trips

After cancelling its annual Halloween festivities last year due to the pandemic, SOS Labyrinthe is back and ready to celebrate all things spooky and scary throughout October. There will be themed décor, a festive atmosphere and mysterious phenomena for visitors to discover, including inexplicable events, moving shadows and even strange beings from outer space. Visitors can check out the creepy goings on from October 2-31 (weekends and holidays only) from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

SOS Labyrinthe is a two-km-long urban maze that celebrates Montreal’s maritime history. Located in Hangar 16 in the Old Port of Montreal, legend has it that the hangar is home to Stevie and Mayday, two longshoremen who began working there in 1942. Over the years, through their work hauling cargo, they witnessed historic moments in Montreal—and collected the artifacts to prove it.

Known as the treasures of the longshoremen, they tell the stories of Montreal and its history and are hidden throughout the maze, waiting for the lucky visitor who can find away around the dead ends to uncover them.

Halloween blackout bonus

Following the popularity of its successful Blackout weekends held over the summer, SOS Labyrinthe is also welcoming visitors to a special Halloween Blackout evening on Oct. 16, where they can tour the maze in the dark, complete with a galactic theme.

Special promotions

  • Visitors who buy a 2022 season pass in advance will be able to enjoy access to SOS Labyrinthe for the rest of 2021. This includes the final Blackout night on October 16 and the Halloween special weekends from October 2 to 31.
  • Come dressed in your best costume on the weekends of October 23-24 and 30-31 and get 15 per cent off the regular admission rate.

“We are very happy that the Halloween special is back for the 2021 season following its cancellation last year,” said Jean Perron, President of SOS Labyrinthe. “Halloween is a holiday that charms young and old alike, just like our maze.”
