BEGINNERS SPANISH CLASS (12 WEEK PROGRAM)

KIDS AGES 7-10 BEGINNERS SPANISH CLASS (12 WEEK PROGRAM) OCT, 1 2021-DEC, 17 2021

My name is Maria Giammattei, I am a native Spanish tutor, located in California. My classes are practical and interactive, they take place Online via Zoom. I help my students in fulfilling their personal goals to learn or improve their Spanish language skills. Moreover, my students learn about culture, history, roots, gastronomy, and tourism of Spanish speaking countries.

I will start a Kids Beginners Spanish Class Program for kids ages (7-10), that will last 12 weeks. Starting from October, 1 2021 to December, 17 2021.

Price will be: US$200.00 per student. (Prices do not include field trip) +Processing fees may apply.

The classes will last for one hour, will take place online via Zoom, every Friday at 4:00 p.m. (PDT). Except for Thanksgiving week, class will take place on Wednesday (time to be determined).

Before starting the program, you will need to download Zoom in your preferred device (Tablet or PC). Have an stable internet conection or Wifi. Designate a especific and appropriate room in your house.

Lessons will be recorded and shared with partcipants, in case you missed a session.

The 12 week program will be as follows:

1st week (10/01/2021): How to introduce yourself and greet others.

2nd week (10/08/2021): Playing Lotería (Colors and Shapes).

3rd week (10/15/2021): Playing Lotería (Numbers and Letters).

4th week (10/22/2021): Animals-Fruits-Vegetables. *1

5th week (10/29/2021): Learning vocabulary with Coco- The Movie.

6th week (11/05/2021): Sports and activities.

7th week (11/12/2021): Comida- In the kitchen (cooking class).

8th week (11/19/2021): We are thankful for: familia, amigos....

9th week (11/24/2021): Thanksgiving Picnic. *2

10th week (12/03/2021): Cuentacuentos -Storyteller (Bilingual Book).

11th week (12/10/2021): End of year festivities around Spanish speaking countries.

12th week (12/17/2021): Closing - Cierre (singing-dancing-acting).

*1- Optional Field trip for kids living in L.A. County and surrounding areas: Oct 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. - Pumpkin Patch and Petting Farm @ Cal Poly Pomona . Address: 4102 S. University Drive, Pomona, CA 91768. Kids will have the opportunity to practice and learn vocabulary related to farm animals, vegetables and fruits, as well as specific vocabulary regarding fall season and harvest. Prices for this field trip, will be announced later, they are separated and not included in the fees for the 12 week program. Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian.

*2- Thanksgiving Picnic will take place virtually or in person -or both- at a local park (will be discussed later with participants). Every student will have to bring their own food and drinks. Mionors must be accompanied by parent or gusrdian.
